Open Studios Weekend

It's been a long time in the making, but it's finally here.....Open Studios weekend!  I have attended them over the last few years, but this year I decided to become a participant.  In fact, I jumped in with both feet and also volunteered.  

The hard work from all of the volunteers has culminated in an amazing event that kicked off last night with an auction featuring works form participating artists.  A few of my fun birds generated some much needed cash for our group and it was a fun night for all.

Now comes the weekend we have all worked so hard to put together.  My home is open to all for a tour of my latest works and some great conversation.  I have my friend Wendy and her Mom on hand giving live demonstrations on some fun furniture refinishing techniques as well.  Stop by and say hi!  Here's a link to all the info:  http://openstudios.gallery/june2016/
