What’s the process for custom work?
The first step is to submit a general idea of what you’re looking for by filling out a custom work request. After reviewing your description, I’ll get back to you within 1-2 business days for details, to ask questions, and to provide you with a quote. Once the concept is agreed upon, a 50% deposit will be required to get started. A midpoint consultation will provide the opportunity to make sure I’m heading in the right direction. Please be aware that commissioned work is non-refundable.
How long does custom work take?
Generally, custom work takes anywhere from 3 to 5 weeks to complete. Times will vary based on a number of factors, including the size and detail of the project. Estimated completion time will be included in the quote.
How does shipping work?
I will include an estimated price for the shipping & insurance in the quote. Insurance is included to offer peace of mind by covering any damage that may occur during shipping. I ship via UPS and delivery times are normally within a week. A signature will be required upon delivery.
Can I commission a piece similar to a painting that has already been
sold?
Yes; however, please be aware this doesn’t guarantee an exact replica of any of my work. I can do a painting similar to a previous work, but my goal is to make sure everyone has a unique piece, so each painting will be it’s own.
I have size and specific color requirements. Can you work with that?
Yes, and if you have specific color swatches, fabric samples, and/or other aides I would love to utilize them to help when creating your custom piece for a special space.
