This body of work was inspired by my parents’ photography from their many trips to South Africa on photo safari. I grew up seeing the images they would bring back with them and always felt connected to the magical beasts from faraway lands. I find it funny that baby rhinos don’t really have a horn. It makes them look slightly odd even for a rhino, but still quite adorable.
